Hi, I’m Abby!
I design and develop long lasting learning experiences for diverse learners.
Featured Project
A scenario based e-learning experience designed to build confidence in educators.
What the people are saying . . .
“Abby’s knowledge, caring nature, and sense of humor make her an easy choice for any position.”
Abby will be an asset to any staff. She is knowledgeable with technology, grade-level math standards, using assessments to guide instruction, and most importantly, building relationships with students and staff.
Mary Brown, Mentor Teacher
“Abigail has a natural ability to connect with students of all background and abilities”
One of the things that stands out most about Abigail is her dedication to her students. She takes the time to get to know each student individually and puts in the effort to help them reach their full potential.
Cindy Coons, District Mentor
“Abby is well rounded and always open to learning new things. ”
With the team, she analyzes data to create lessons and determine next steps to support students needs. The growth is a direct result of learning experiences she provides each day.
Elizabeth Vaughn, Vice Principal
A bit about me . . .
The Past
For a strong 17 years of my life I was a seasoned softball player. As the lead catcher for a well known traveling softball team, I learned important skills about teamwork, leadership, and accountability at a very early age. With these skills I was able to have the experience of playing collegiate softball which only hardened my love for the sport. Nowadays you can be sure that during the spring and summer I am watching baseball and keeping up with the college softball.
The Present
In my free time, I am an avid hobbyist with the mentality of “I can make that.” Whether it’s crochet, knitting, scrapbooking, needlepoint, sewing, etc., I have a forever learners mindset, that I can learn anything I put my mind to. As a mom, I am even more motivated to learn new skills that allow me to make my daughter’s life full of love and fun experiences. Then at the end of the day, with a warm cup of tea and my daughter in bed, I like to dive deep into my books and escape into another world for a small time.
The Future
When I think about my future, it involves loving my family to my fullest extent and having great pride in the work that I produce. I find myself quite lucky in realizing what I love to do for work at an “early” age. Focusing on the development and education of adults in their area of expertise is what I strive to be a part of.
